Grigor Dimitrov will be No. 6 in the World from Monday

Despite the strange loss from John Isner (US) at the 1/8-final of the Masters Tournament in Paris (€ 4.2m), Grigor Dimitrov will make two-position jump in the world tennis rankings on Monday. The Bulgarian had lead of 5:2 in the III set, in 5:3 served for the win in the  match but in the end lost 6:7 (10), 7: 5, 6:7(3).

Bulgaria's Dimitrov Beats Verdasco in First China Open Match

Tennis player Grigor Dimitrov managed to secure a hard victory against Spain's Fernando Verdasco in his first encounter at China Open in Beijing.

Dimitrov won the match that lasted 1 h 36 min and ended 6:1, 3:6, 6:3.

After an easy first set for Dimitrov, Verdasco posed a tough challenge to the Bulgarian, who lost the second one.

Zimonjic and Nestor ousted in quarterfinals in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI - Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Canada's Daniel Nestor have failed to reach the semifinals of the ATP Masters in Cincinnati.

They lost to Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France 6-3 6-4 on Friday.

The French duo will face Canada's Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock from the US in the semis.

The prize fund for the tournament is USD 4 million.

Grigor Dimitrov Loses to Poland’s Janowicz in Cincinnati Open

Bulgaria's top tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has suffered a surprise defeat to Jerzy Janowicz in the Cincinnati Masters, Wednesday.

The Pole fired 12 aces in a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win over Dimitrov. For the Bulgarian tennis star it was a disappointing end to an excellent run that saw him progress to the Wimbledon and Toronto semi-finals.

Meier withdraws citing injury, Djokovic goes through

MIAMI - Serbia's Novak Djokovic has reached the 4th round of the ATP Masters tournament in Miami after Germany's Florian Meier withdrew from the competition citing injury.

Their match was scheduled for Sunday.

Djokovic's next opponent will be the winner of the match between Tommy Robredo of Spain and Julien Benneteau of France.
