Border Dispute Clouds Montenegrin PM's Kosovo Visit

Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic will pay an official visit to Kosovo on Tuesday, despite Kosovo's failure to set a day for its MPs to vote on a long-awaited demarcation agreement between the two countries.

Kosovo's government confirmed that "all topics of mutual interest between two countries will be discussed" during Markovic's visit.

Special court for KLA crimes "cannot be abolished" - Thaci

Tanjug carried this report on Thursday, citing the Pristina-based, Albanian language website Gazeta Express.

"The Special Court cannot be abolished and will not be abolished, this is the attitude of the state, not an opinion," Thaci told a press conference on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the unilateral declaration of Kosovo's independence.

Pristina-based Albanian language media are reporting this, adding that Haradinaj "confirmed" that he made insulting statements about Greg Delawie.

Haradinaj told TV Klan Kosova that the ambassador "violated the diplomatic code when he pressured members of the Kosovo Assembly not to vote in favor of abolishing the special court."

Kosovo Assembly President Kadri Veseli on Monday spoke at a gathering to honor the victims of "the Racak massacre," the website KoSSev has reported.

According to the report, citing the daily Lajmi, Veseli said that there can be "no international justice without justice for Racak," and that "the Racak massacre is a disgrace of international justice."

Kosovo Assembly President Kadri Veseli says it is clear that "the special court" is detrimental to Kosovo.

Veseli, who is the leader of the DPK party - led until his election as president by Hashim Thaci - was referring to the Specialist Chambers, set up to deal with the crimes committed by the former KLA.
