The Heroes of Halyard screened at royal White Palace
BELGRADE - Alexander Karadjordjevic, Crown Prince of Yugoslavia, and his wife, Princess Katherine, hosted a screening of the WWII-themed film The Heroes of Halyard in the cinema theatre of the royal White Palace in downtown Belgrade on Monday evening.
Nolan ‘apologizes to Pugh for her small role’ in ‘Oppenheimer’
Actress Florence Pugh has revealed that director Christopher Nolan was very apologetic about her role in his latest film, "Oppenheimer."
Pugh, 27, stars as psychiatrist and physician Jean Tatlock in the film about the life of the "father of the atomic bomb," J. Robert Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy in the lead role.
Day of Slovenian-Serbian Friendship to become official next year
Ljubljana – Several associations hosted a Day of Slovenian-Serbian Friendship at Fužine Castle in Ljubljana featuring Alexander, Crown Prince of Yugoslavia, and his spouse, Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia. It was announced at the event that 12 June would probably be formally declared the Day of Slovenian-Serbian Friendship next year.
Prince Charles visits Karadjordjevics
The Prince of Wales visited Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Yugoslavia the Royal Palace in Belgrade Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by the son of Alexander Karadjordjevic, Prince Peter, and Princess Katherine's daughter, Alison Andrews.

First edition of 'The Hobbit' sold at auction
A first edition of ?The Hobbit? accompanied by a handwritten note in Elvish by British author J.R.R. Tolkien was sold by Sotheby?s at auction on June 4 for 187,000 euros.
The book was a gift from the author and is dedicated to Miss Katherine (?Kitty?) Kilbride, one of his first students at Leeds University in the 1920s.

US actor Eli Wallach dead at 98: report
The prolific American actor Eli Wallach, known by many for his role in the western "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" as part of a career spanning six decades, has died at the age of 98, US media reports said.
The New York Times said Wallach's death Tuesday was confirmed by his daughter Katherine. The cause of death was not given.
