Djokovic from the abyss to the eighth finals

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic played an unexpectedly uncertain match against Kei Nishikori, which lasted more than three and a half hours, advancing against Kei Nishikori 3: 1 (6-7, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2) in the third round.

Grigor Dimitrov Withdraws From FAST4

Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov has withdrawn from the FAST4 Showdown, reported tennisworldusa.org.

The 27-year-old debuted at the FAST4 event last year. Back then, the Bulgarian beat Australian tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt in a singles match before he and German Alexander Zverev were beaten in a doubles clash by Hewitt and Australian Nick Kyrgios.

Grigor Dimitrov Beat David Goffin in Quarter-finals

Bulgarian fourth seed Grigor Dimitrov reached his first Monte Carlo Masters semi-final with a hard-fought win over Belgium's David Goffin.

Dimitrov, 26, won 6-4 7-6 (7-5) against sixth seed Goffin, who was leading 5-1 in the second set.

Spain's world number one Rafael Nadal takes on Austrian third seed Dominic Thiem with the winner playing Dimitrov.

Djokovic through to Madrid semis as Nishikori withdraws

MADRID - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the semi-finals of the Madrid Masters after Japan's Kei Nishikori withdrew from their quarter-final clash on Friday due to injury.

Fifteen minutes before the match, Nishikori decided to withdraw from the tournament due to a wrist injury.

Bulgaria's Dimitrov Goes Up ATP Tennis Ranking

Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria has climbed up the ATP ranking after grabbing the title at Brisbane International, the tennis association's website shows.

Dimitrov has moved up by two spots and is now No 15, trailing behind Nick Kyrgios (Australia), and getting closer to his best ever ranking when he made it into the world's Top 10 in 2014.

Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria has won his first title for the year by grabbing the title at Brisbane International.

The victory is a huge success after a year of tought defeats.

It has also brought Dimitrov the first ATP title in two-and-a-half years.

Dimitrov has defeated Kei Nishikori of Japan 6:2, 2:6, 6:3.

Bulgaria's Dimitrov Reaches Brisbane Final

Grigor Dimitrov continued in an excellent manner his performance in 2017 and reached the final in Brisbane after defeating Milos Raonic who is ranked 3rd in the world.

The Bulgarian tennis player won 7:6 (7), 6:2 after 92 minutes of play and, in a second consecutive match, overcame a tennis player in the ATP Top 10.

Dimitrov will face Kei Nishikori at the final on January 8.
