President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic visited the World Centre for Holocaust Research in Jerusalem and expressed her “deepest regrets” about victims of the Nazi-allied regime in Croatia in WWII.

The President's office told BIRN that Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic had other priorities, saying that "there are major issues in Croatia, such as the economy and negative demographic trends, which must constantly be stressed.

Liberland Leader Still Smiling After His Arrest
Vit Jedlicka, president of a self-proclaimed statelet on the Danube called Liberland, is in defiant and optimistic mode following his arrested on Saturday by the Croatian border police and one night's detention.
"I think we need more talks on Liberland's existence and on Liberland's borders," Jedlicka told BIRN after his release.
