Mitsotakis renews call for support in Crete campaign rally
New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis embarked on his second day of campaigning in the southern island of Crete, beginning with a visit to Mylopotamos in Rethymno. There, he urged voters to renew their confidence in the conservative party ahead of the repeat elections on June 25.

Behind the scenes on the Macedonian issue
Greek governments, from Konstantinos Mitsotakis (1990-03) to Antonis Samaras (2012-15), followed an ineffective secret diplomacy, while accepting, without admitting it, a double (or triple) name for what was then the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), with the word "Macedonia" included in every iteration.

Israel seeking deeper cooperation with Greece, Ambassador Yossi Amrani says

Our conversation marked the 30th anniversary since Greece, under the government of Konstantinos Mitsotakis, recognized the State of Israel on May 21, 1990, and full diplomatic relations were established between the two countries.
The surprising dynamic of Greek-Israeli ties
During 2019, in the good old pre-coronavirus times, more than 700,000 Israelis visited Greece. They were dining in tavernas in the Peloponnese, walking in Vikos, singing along in one of Athens' bouzouki clubs, buying summer homes on Crete and Lefkada, or visiting Greek industrial partners. Greek and Israeli military forces were holding joint exercises. All that in the friendliest atmosphere.
