In two years, Bulgaria sent over $1 billion worth of weapons to Ukraine. This happened through intermediary countries, including the USA, Great Britain and Poland. This was reported to Euractiv by their sources.

Finally, the parliament decided that the minimum wage should be 50% of the national average.

Deputies unanimously with 190 "in favor" adopted in the second reading a draft law on amendments and additions to the law on preschool and school education. The bill introduces free textbooks for students from grades 1 to 12.

Bulgaria will hold another parliamentary election - its fifth in two years - after the Socialist Party on Tuesday announced that it had failed to form a government and had returned the unfulfilled mandate to the country's president.

BSP returned to the president the unfulfilled third mandate to form a government.

Snap elections will take place in late March or early April. 

The Parliamentary Group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party gave a statement in parliament. "We brought out the most important priorities for Bulgaria and the Bulgarian people, which exist in the programs of all parties. We were looking for solutions to get out of the political crisis. We invited all the leaders of parties represented in the parliament for a conversation.

"Early elections are inevitable" - this is what BSP leader Kornelia Ninova said after the leadership meeting that took place in parliament. The conversation was between BSP, GERB, DPS and "Bulgarian Rise".

"We Continue the Change", "Democratic Bulgaria" and "Vazrazhdane" did not participate.

The leadership meeting organized by the parliamentary group, the receiver of the third mandate to form a government - BSP - began in the National Assembly.

The chairwoman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party Kornelia Ninova talked about management priorities with the leaders of GERB Boyko Borissov, DPS Mustafa Karadayi and "Bulgarian Rise" Stefan Yanev.

The political parties were sharply criticized because of the information presented by "Die Welt" that Bulgaria sent weapons and fuel to Ukraine under the "Petkov" cabinet.

GERB and "Democratic Bulgaria", which insist that our country help Kyiv, criticized the previous cabinet for hiding the information and using intermediaries.
