Democratic Front MP Slaven Radunovic said the government had betrayed voters who supported the three ruling majority blocs in last August's elections and ended three decades of rule by the DPS.

Some of the Montenegrin media speculate that the current prime minister is "already former" and that it is certain that he will be replaced by the president of Demos, Miodrag Leki.
Consultations on that have already started unofficially within the three coalitions, which form the parliamentary majority, Novosti has learned.

Krivokapic told reporters in the hall of the Parliament of Montenegro, after he left the session at which his initiative for the removal of the Minister of Justice, Human and Minority Rights, Vladimir Leposavic, was discussed due to his views on Srebrenica.
He added that the procedure is clear: "You can ask for trust in the Government or you can go to new elections", RTCG reports.

Being hosted on the TV show "Focus" on B92 TV, he said that this means that Zdravko Krivokapi does not intend to sign that contract.

He explained that he asked for that, and not to interfere in the election of the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral.
Joanikije told the Podgorica portal IN4S that the election of the metropolitan is in the exclusive competence of the Holy Synod of Bishops, whose session is in progress.

"We have arranged with His Holiness to agree on the date of signing the basic agreement. I am looking forward to the election of a new Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral with great faith that he will lead the people like his predecessor, the blessed Metropolitan Amfilohije," said Krivokapic who met with the Serbian patriarch in Belgrade on Thursday afternoon.

According to the statement, the topic of conversation was the Basic Agreement between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Government of Montenegro. The meeting was also attended by Metropolitan Chrysostom of Dabar-Bosnia, Bishop Jovan of umadija and Bishop Joanikije of the eparchy of Budimlja-Niki.

They are suspected of breaching measures imposed to fight the coronavirus outbreak in the tiny Adriatic country. Under rules introduced on March 13, all public gatherings in the country are banned.
