Kosovo-based human rights and transitional justice NGO Integra accused public broadcaster Radio on Wednesday of censoring its radio drama series 'Living with the Memories of the Missing' after an episode told the story of a Serb woman whose husband disappeared as a result of the 1990s conflict.

But President Thaci resigned in November after being indicted for war crimes and crimes against humanity by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague, raising questions about whether or not others will carry forward the initiative to set up the committee.

Artan Murati, an adviser to Kosovo's acting president, Vjosa Osmani, said that the issue has not been discussed yet.

A group of over 40 civil society organisations in Kosovo said in a joint statement on Thursday that Shkelzen Gashi has been "threatened and insulted in the worst way by the general public, but also by many personalities and politicians including President Hashim Thaci".

Zyle Ujkani from Mitrovica, who has been waiting for more than 20 years to discover the fate of her three sons who disappeared in April 1999, is one of the members of ten families whose stories feature in the recently-published book, 'Living with the Memories of the Missing'.

Copies of a memoir printed in Belgrade by the famous Kosovo-born Yugoslav actor Bekim Fehmiu will now be released after they were held up for three days in a Kosovo customs terminal in the northern town of Mitrovica.
