The motto of the blue-and-white logo is "The GReat Land."

Growing chasm
The biggest challenge facing Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is neither SYRIZA nor the smaller opposition parties nor popular protests. It is the migration crisis, because the issue tends to alienate the New Democracy leadership from the party's traditional base of supporters, local administration officials and deputies.

Mitsotakis to express support for North Macedonia’s EU path in meeting with Zaev

Mitsotakis to meet with Zaev, Borisov in Thessaloniki on Thursday
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is to meet with North Macedonia's Zoran Zaev and Bulgaria's Boyko Borisov on Thursday on the sidelines of the Thessaloniki Summit 2019, a business event organized by the Federation of Industries of Greece.
Mitsotakis' first meeting with Zaev was on September 24 in New York, on the sidelines of a United Nations meeting.
Chinese visitors set to increase amid closer ties
Tourism cooperation between China and Greece is booming as the cradle of Western civilization is becoming an increasingly popular destination for Chinese travelers.
Between 150,000 and 200,000 Chinese tourists visited Greece last year, an increase of over 20 percent from the year before, according to the Beijing Office of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
