Lavrov

Lavrov: Pristina does not represent Serbs in Kosovo, neither Kyiv represents Donbas

"Just as Pristina cannot claim to represent the interests of the Kosovo Serbs, who were promised autonomy by the European Union - so Berlin and Paris promised a special status to Donbas," Lavrov said at the United Nations Security Council session, RIA Novosti reported.

The end of the war in Ukraine? Lavrov: "Russia is interested... as soon as possible"

"It is clear that we are interested in ending the Ukrainian conflict as soon as possible. We have several times explained in detail the reasons for everything that is happening and the goals. We have explained in detail, and not once, the reasons for what is happening and those goals that we have in this regard," Lavrov said after a meeting with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.

Lavrov: That is a lie

"We will continue to deny it," Lavrov said and added that no one is trying to convince Kyiv to return to the negotiating table with Moscow. "Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is not independent, he is being manipulated," he believes.

"It's ridiculous"

"Words about NATO being a defense alliance are ridiculous, to claim such nonsense is even shameful," Lavrov said in Minsk, addressing students and teachers of the Belarusian State University and other higher education institutions, reports RIA Novosti.

Direct accusations: "Spitting in the face of the European Union"

"What surprises me more than the lies told daily by the regime in Kyiv is the West engagement in this game of spreading untruths," Minister Lavrov said last night in an interview with Belarusian state television BTRC, part of which was published on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website, reports TASS.
