Vujovic: All tiers of society should bear cost of reforms
BELGRADE - Minister of Economy Dusan Vujovic said on Monday that the Serbian government has no dilemma that the reforms are necessary, but stressed that all tiers of the society should bear the cost of reforms.
Krstic resigns as Finance Minister
BELGRADE - Lazar Krstic announced on Saturday his resignation to the position of Finance Minister in the government of Serbia.
After the government meeting at which the draft laws on labor and on pension and disability insurance were adopted, Krstic said that the decision regarding his resignation was made in agreement with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

Krstic: Changes to pension law necessary

Amendments to tax procedure and administration law adopted
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament adopted on Thursday a set of amendments to the law on tax procedure and administration, which should improve the efficiency of the Tax Administration.
The amendments raise the fines on tax offences putting them between RSD 100,000 and RSD 2 million.

Krstic: Control of taxpayers twice per month

Krstic proposes 41 percent tax increase for lawyers
BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Lazar Krstic suggested that the maximum increase of lump sum taxes for lawyers be set at 41 percent.
Krstic proposed the new percentage on Wednesday to the representatives of Serbian bar associations who went on a strike over new tax regulations.
