IMF mission finishes visit to Serbia on Thursday
BELGRADE - An IMF will finish its visit to Serbia on Thursday, the IMF office in Belgrade has told Tanjug.
The visit was meant to review the situation with the state budget and public finance and discuss a new precautionary arrangement.

Djogovic: UAE loan should be used to cut debt
BELGRADE - Serbia should use the USD 1 billion loan granted by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to pay back expensive loans and launch reforms, economist Sasa Djogovic of the Belgrade Institute for Market Research (IZIT) stated on Thursday.
We received a loan from UAE on more favourable terms than currently available on the market, Djogovic told a news conference.

Serbia signs agreement on UAE loan
BELGRADE/ABU DHABI - Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance Hamad Al Hurr Al Suwaidi and Serbian Finance Minister Lazar Krstic signed in Abu Dhabi on Thursday an agreement on the USD 1 billion loan from the United Arab Emirates to the Serbian budget.
Krstic said that the loan agreement reflects a considerable strengthening of the two countries' ties.

Serbian Govt Approves USD 1B UAE Loan
The government of Serbia approved unanimously the USD 1B loan from the United Arab Emirates late on Wednesday.
Owing to the loan, Serbia will save USD 40M annually, or approximately USD 400M over the period of ten years, Finance Minister Lazar Krstic pointed out, Serbian Tanjug reports.
