PAOK and Ajax settle for 2-2 draw
PAOK Salonica and visiting Ajax Amsterdam settled for a 2-2 draw on Tuesday night in in the first leg of the third qualifying round of this year's Champions League.
Hakim Ziyech opened the scoring for Ajax before PAOK responded with two goals by Chuba Apkom and Leo Matos.
The Dutch side, last year's semifinalist, leveled with Klaas Jan Huntelaar.

Clear advantage for PAOK and AEK in Cup semis
PAOK and AEK look set to renew their date in another Greek Cup final, the third in a row for the pair, as they have taken a clear advantage from their home games for the semiifnals of this year's tournament.
On Wednesday they both won 2-0, PAOK downing Asteras Tripolis in Thessaloniki and AEK defeating Lamia in Athens.

Brazilian magic gives PAOK Cup semifinal advantage
PAOK scored two spectacular goals through Brazilian midfielder Leo Matos to beat Asteras Tripolis 2-0 on Wednesday night at home at Thessaloniki's Toumba Stadium and took a clear lead in the two-leg semifinal of the Greek Cup. The second leg is scheduled to take place on April 24 in Tripoli.

The Super League resumed after three weeks of forced recess due to the referee strike, with PAOK and Olympiakos scoring away wins, while Atromitos and Panathinaikos conceded draws at home.
PAOK miss out on Champions League group stage
PAOK Thessaloniki failed to reach the UEFA Champions League group stage after suffering a 4-1 defeat at their home ground against Portugal's Benfica on Wednesday night.
The teams were tied 1-1 after the first leg in Lisbon and Serbian striker Aleksandar Prijovic put the Greek cup winners ahead on the night.

Araujo brace keeps AEK tied with PAOK
PAOK and AEK scored three goals each to leapfrog over Olympiakos at the top of the Super League table on Sunday, as the Reds will play their match on Monday, at home against Lamia.
PAOK was a class above struggling Kerkyra and won 3-0 away thanks to goals from Leo Matos, Djalma Campos and Dimitris Pelkas.

Lamia dismantles Panathinaikos in the Cup
Lamia thrashed Panathinaikos 4-1 on its frozen pitch and is the huge favorite for a major upset in the Greek Cup, while the tournament's favorites had a smooth ride in the first leg of the round of 16 in midweek.
