Presumed Beethoven skull fragments return to Vienna
Skull fragments, presumed to be from Ludwig van Beethoven, have returned to Vienna, where the legendary 19th century German composer was buried, experts said on July 20.
U.haS. businessman Paul Kaufmann donated the fragments, which he inherited, to the Medical University of Vienna where researchers will probe the illnesses suffered by the impresario and his cause of death.
İzmir’s ‘El Sistema’ introduces music to children
The "El Sistema" model, which introduces art to Venezuelan children living in the areas of high crime rates, has been realized in İzmir.
Initiated 35 years ago by Venezuelan economist and amateur musician Jose Antonio Abreu, "El Sistema" began by gathering 11 children in a garage to make music. Today, it provides music education to hundreds of thousands of children.

Ballet diptych A Viennese Evening premieres at Cankarjev dom
Ljubljana – Cankarjev Dom, Slovenia’s biggest arts and culture centre, will host the premiere of the ballet A Viennese Evening on Thursday night. The ballet diptych, choreographed by Renato Zanella, is a co-production of Cankarjev Dom and SNG Ljubljana Opera and Ballet.
