Bulgaria: Why are the Women Politicians Always Second?
No matter how the presidential election ends, the next Bulgarian vice president will be a woman again.
Out of 24 candidacies in the presidential elections, a total of 13 consist of a male presidential candidate and a female vice-presidential candidate. This also applies to the leaders in the race.
By comparison, there were only two female vice presidential candidates in 2016.
DB Set to Support Lozan Panov's Presidential Bid
The Democratic Bulgaria Coalition has announced that it will support the civil candidacy of Lozan Panov for president and Maria Kasimova-Moase for vice president. The coalition points out that Panov largely covers the political views of the coalition.

Lozan Panov's candidacy for president was raised literally in few hours.
This is stated by the leadership of the civil initiative "Justice for Everyone". Velislav Velichkov said that they met on Friday afternoon and decided to set up an initiative committee for the nomination of the chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation (SCC).
