Ahead of general elections in Kosovo on Sunday, Serbia's Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, has advised Kosovo Serbs not to boycott the elections.
“I don’t think it is smart for them not to vote,” Vucic said in Belgrade on Tuesday, adding that he planned to talk to Serbian representatives in Kosovo to convey his views.
Marko Jaksic, a political analyst from the mainly Serbian northern part of Kosovo, says the turnout in the Kosovo elections will be lower if Serbia does not put pressure on Kosovo Serbs to vote, as it did in the last local elections held on November 17.
BELGRADE - The report of the Inquiry Committee of the Serbian parliament, pointing to the misuse of public funds in the territory of Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) in the period between 2000 to 2012, was adopted on Monday by a majority vote of committee members.
