Copenhagen – Foreign Minister Anže Logar paid a visit to Denmark on Thursday to meet his counterpart Jeppe Kofod. The talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations, reviewing the implementation of the priorities of the Slovenian EU presidency, and on topical international issues, including Afghanistan.

Scientific data shows Greenland's continental shelf is connected to a ridge beneath the Arctic Ocean, giving Danes a claim to the North Pole and any potential energy resources beneath it, Denmark's foreign minister said.
     

Turkey's EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır has slammed Denmark's decision to report Turkey to the EU over the release of the suspected shooter of a Danish writer.

"The suspect has been freed with a court decision and has been disappeared. It's not right to blame Turkey," Bozkır said, speaking to reporters in Stockholm on Nov. 28, broadcaster NTV has reported.
