Vucic, Schulz meet in Davos

DAVOS - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic met with former European Parliament President Martin Schulz in Davos on Thursday.

Vucic is attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting, which is also an opportunity for a series of meetings with world leaders and heads of the most significant economic institutions.

The European Parliament is electing its new President, as the current head of the body, Martin Schulz stepped down to compete for the leadership of the socialist party in Germany. The two major contenders in the EP elections are Antonio Tajani of the EPP, who was an MEP for 14 years before becoming European Commissioner in 2008.
