Russian art show in Paris hits near record visitors

An exhibition of masterpieces owned by a Russian art collector has attracted a near-record number of visitors in Paris, but the war in Ukraine may make it the last of its kind for a while.

The "Morozov Collection," which includes works by Van Gogh, Cezanne, Matisse and Monet, clocked up 1.25 million visitors at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, the center said on April 11.

President Iohannis to pay official visit to France next week

President Klaus Iohannis will be paying an official visit to the French Republic between 27 and 28 November, occasioned by the inauguration of the Romanian-France Cultural Season, which is aimed at the 10th anniversary since the signing of the Strategic Partnership, as well as the celebration of the Greater Union Centennial in 1918.
