Matoula Zamani

Fresh off releasing her latest album, "Nuka," the out-of-the-box musician Matoula Zamani will appear at the Technopolis to perform her newest songs. "Nuka," which means walnut in Wallachian, pays homage to Zamani's Vlach roots.

Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the 2019 Paros Festival spans three days and dozens of venues across the port town of Parikia. An exhibition titled "Collecting Stories, Telling Histories" will be on display throughout the event, showcasing archives, artifacts and photographs that detail Paros' history.

Turkish musician and composer Omar Faruk Tekbilek performs at the Diogenis Studio on Friday, January 20, as part of the Athens Music Festival. The festival runs through March. Greek vocalists Glykeria and Matoula Zamani will be joining him on stage. The concert begins at 9 p.m. Admission starts at 15 euros.
