Gov’t to impose restrictions on car sales
Some restrictions will be introduced for car sales to arrest the increase in car prices, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş has said, noting the respective regulation is ready.
Under the new regulation, companies, car rental firms, and car dealers will have to wait for a period of time to sell new cars they have bought, he added.

Trade deficit widens to $10.6 billion in July
Türkiye increased its exports by 13.4 percent on an annual basis to $18.6 billion in July, preliminary data from the Trade Ministry showed on Aug. 3.
Imports grew nearly 41 percent to $29.1 billion. Consequently, the country's foreign trade deficit widened by 145 percent year-on-year last month to $10.6 billion.

Exports rose nearly 25 percent to $23.4 bln in April
Turkey's exports increased by 24.6 percent in April from a year ago to reach $23.4 billion, data from the Trade Ministry have shown.
"This marked the all-time highest in monthly exports," Trade Minister Mehmet Muş said on Twitter, adding that the country's 12-month exports surpassed the $240 billion threshold.
Gov’t to monitor price movements instantly
The government will be able to oversee price moves instantly with a new digital system, according to a decision taken at the Economy Coordination Board meeting on April 13.
The recent development in the global supply chains and the effects of rising commodity prices on the inflation rates were evaluated at the meeting chaired by Vice President Fuat Oktay, according to a statement.

Exports increased nearly 20 percent to $22.7 billion in March
Turkey's exports rose by 19.8 percent on an annual basis to climb to $22.7 billion in March, data from the Trade Ministry have shown.
This marked an all-time high export figure for the month of March, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş said, adding that in January and February record monthly export levels were recorded. "Third time in a row, we achieved those record numbers," Muş tweeted.
