Rumi meets with digital art
Rumi Dreams, a new digital project by Refik Anadol, who is known around the world with his artificial intelligence-based artworks, was introduced at Istanbul Atatürk Culture Center (AKM) on June 4. The exhibition will be on display as part of the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival through to June 12.

Culture Road Festival opens in Istanbul, Ankara
Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has inaugurated the Beyoğlu and Başkent Culture Road Festival in Istanbul during its launch ceremonies in Istanbul and Ankara on the weekend.
The event in Istanbul opened with a photomarathon event joined by 1,500 photographers.

Armenian church in Diyarbakır reopens after 7 years
Following seven years of renovation work, St. Giragos Church in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır is now open to offer religious services once again.
The church, heavily damaged by PKK terrorists in 2015, was reopened with a ceremony attended by Turkish Culture Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
Michelin Guide to unveil Istanbul restaurant selection in fall
The Michelin Guide has said it will unveil its first restaurant selection for Istanbul in October this year.
"Istanbul, which is a first-rate gastronomy destination, impressed our team. Michelin Guide will now introduce this city to gourmets from all around the world," Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide, told a press conference in Istanbul on April 21.

Turkey targets $55 billion tourism revenues next year
Turkey aims to generate $55 billion in tourism revenues and host 63 million tourists in 2023, according to projections that Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy presented at a recent meeting while he also voiced confidence that the targets set for 2022 could also be met despite the geopolitical tensions.
Maiden’s Tower to open in April as restoration nears end
Restoration works at the Maiden's Tower in Istanbul have neared an end as the historical tower is expected to be presented to the public in April, İhlas News Agency has reported.
"The dome is strengthened with carbon fibers, the roof has been raised and fortification walls have emerged," it reported on Feb. 18.
