Stars donate millions to aid striking actors
A dozen of Hollywood's highest-earning stars, from George Clooney to Meryl Streep, have each donated $1 million or more to support out-of-work actors as their strike enters its fourth week, their union's charitable foundation said on Aug. 2.

Met Gala Postponed due to COVID-19
The Ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the event of the year in New York, is being postponed due to the new coronavirus, Anna Wintour announced, the Associated Press and AFP reported.
The decision of the organizers is related to the order of the museum management to close it until May 15. The ball was scheduled for May 4.

Filming of 'Mamma Mia' Sequel to Start in Vis, Croatia
The US film production company Universal Pictures will soon start shooting the sequel to the hit 2008 American-British-Swedish film musical Mamma Mia! in Croatia, on the island of Vis.
