Turkish FM says he wants to visit spouse of deceased Russian pilot
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said he wishes to visit the spouse of a deceased Russian pilot who was killed after Turkish warplanes shot down a Russian aircraft on Nov. 24, 2015, over an alleged airspace violation.
Turkish FM challenges Obama to game of golf
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who is known for his love of golf, has challenged U.S. President Barack Obama to a round in the Mediterranean province of Antalya.
Stating that many world leaders had played golf in Antalya's Belek, a resort town famous for not only its beaches but also its golf courses, Çavuşoğlu said Obama had not been able to play golf yet in Belek.
