The cause of death for British actor Julian Sands, who went missing while hiking on a mountain in California in January, has officially been ruled as "undetermined," local authorities said on July 24.

Sands, who shot to fame as the romantic hero in the 1980s period drama "A Room with a View," vanished on the 3,000-meter Mount San Antonio, known locally as Mount Baldy.

Julian Sands, whose body was identified on June 27 after he disappeared in January while hiking in California, was a British actor who shot to fame as the romantic hero in 1980s period drama "A Room with a View."

The annual Istanbul International Arts & Culture (IST) Festival, curated by the arts and culture platform "Istanbul '74," is back in town from May 22 to 24, attracting some of creative industries' most famous international and national names to the city.
