Bulgarian Nationalists IMRO Nominate Presidential Couple for the Upcoming Election
Bulgaria's IMRO (Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization) nominates Milen Mihov as presidential candidate and Maria Tsvetkova as vice president, the party's press office said. Mihov is a nominee for presidential candidate of the National Youth Committee of IMRO and Bulgarians from Macedonia, which was adopted unanimously at today's meeting of the National leadership.
Bulgaria Will Introduce Voluntary Military Service
Every Bulgarian citizen up to the age of 40 can join the armed forces for 6 months of military service in the voluntary reserve. This was adopted in a new law by the Bulgarian Parliament.
There are more than 5,000 vacant positions in the military. This is the main reason for the proposal to add the option to serve in the military voluntarily.

MPs Reject BGN 10 M for Bulgarian Academy of Sciences
Deputies in Parliament unexpectedly rejected the BGN 10 M increase in the budget of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) on Wednesday, reported BNR.
The larger subsidy was approved on Tuesday by the budget commission but was not reflected in its report. This is why deputies voted "against".
