Continuation of the case with the suspension of entry of the Bulgarian MEP Andrey Kovachev in the Republic of North Macedonia. The Macedonian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on why Kovachev's group and the other three Bulgarians were not allowed to enter the territory of North Macedonia and visit a Bulgarian military cemetery yesterday.

The Macedonian border police did not allow the entry into the country of the Bulgarian MEP from GERB Andrey Kovachev, the deputy chairman of the EPP, Milen Vrabevski, as well as three other Bulgarians. All of them, as every year on May 6, traveled to participate in the memorial service at the Bulgarian military cemetery in Novo Selo, Strumica.

Today, the Bulgarian cultural center "Tsar Boris III" in Ohrid was attacked, which was opened only a few days ago by Dr. Milen Vrabevski - the main supporter of the Bulgarian associations in North Macedonia.

Several hundred people blow vuvuzelas and chant: "Bulgarians - Tatars and fascists" in Ohrid in front of the building where the Bulgarian club "Tsar Boris III" is to be officially opened, BGNES reports.

Some of the protesters also carry posters with inscriptions against Bulgaria and appeals against the European Union, which supported the "fascist demands of Bulgaria".
