The first hearing is scheduled for today, and Andjela Jovanovi was greeted in front of the First Basic Court in Belgrade with the applause of numerous colleagues who came to support her.
Among those present are numerous actors who support her: Mirjana Karanovi, Milena Radulovi, Tamara Krcunovi, Borka Tomovi, Iva Ilini, Anelka Stevi ugi, Maa Daki, Nina Jankovi, Djordje Stojkovi.
The trial of Mika Aleksić continues
Aleksi was accused of multiple rapes and sexual harassment of female students at his school.
It is expected that at today's hearing, the questioning of one of the injured parties, which began at the previous hearing, will be continued. Aleksi was met in front of the Palace building, as in the previous hearings, by activists with a banner reading "We believe in Milena Radulovi".

The hearing of Miroslav Aleksić postponed; A banner was waiting for him PHOTO
Aleksic arrived at the Palace of Justice, however, his lawyer Zoran Jakovljevic tested positive for coronavirus, so today's preparatory hearing, scheduled for 12 o'clock, was postponed for October 28. The defense attorney informed the court that he tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and that he could not come, the High Court told Tanjug.

High Court upheld the indictment against the acting teacher; Lawyer: It was expected
Miroslav Aleksi was detained on January 16, and since then he has been charged with sexually assaulting at least eight students in the school premises, two of whom were minors at the time.
Miroslav Aleksic was questioned again on February 8.
After Milena Radulovi, actress Iva Ilini also appeared publicly.
Detention of Mika Aleksić extended - so that he would not be able to repeat the crime
The pre-trial judge extended his detention with a rationale that he would not be able to repeat the crime in a short period of time, as well as due to public disturbance and the punishment he's threatened for the crime he is charged with.
Aleksic and his lawyer can appeal this decision to the criminal out-of-court panel of the court, the High Court announced.
Aleksic questioned in the prosecution, he was reported by five girls
He was questioned due to the reports of five other girls who subsequently reported him for sexual abuse.
After the hearing, the prosecution extended the investigation against him to new crimes and new victims.
His lawyer, Zoran Jakovljevic, confirmed that Aleksic had been questioned, but did not want to give other details, noting that "there is nothing spectacular".

Aleksic is suspected of rape and sexual abuse, and after the hearing, her lawyer Denis Becirovic said that the investigation was not open to the public and that the prosecutor issued an order not to disclose any information from the case.

"Once again, I appeal to everyone to give space to the rule of law, for the courts to have their say," Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told TV Prva.
Aleksic denied the accusations of rape, and he was remanded in custody
After the hearing, the prosecution proposed to the court to order his detention so that he would not exert influence on witnesses and injured parties, so that he would not repeat the crime due to public harassment.
