BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will confer with Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik in Belgrade on Monday, whom he invited for emergency consultations after the statement made by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

ANDRICGRAD - The Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) delivered the Order of Holy King Milutin to Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik and Andricgrad mastermind Emir Kusturica.

Patriarch Irinej of SPC said in Andricgrad on Saturday that the medal was awarded to Dodik and Kusturica at the proposal of Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and the Littoral.

VISEGRAD – Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik said on Saturday when opening cultural and historical complex Andricgrad that the Serb people in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) will continue fighting for autonomy, hoping that the political process will eventually result in the independence.

Monument to Gavrilo Princip unveiled in East Sarajevo

SARAJEVO -- As part of events marking 100 years since the outbreak of WW1, a monument to Gavrilo Princip has been unveiled in the newly built city park in East Sarajevo.

The statue was cast in bronze and is two meters tall, the work of Belgrade-based sculptor Zoran Kuzmanović.

The first exhibition, which opened on Thursday at the Bosnian History Museum in Sarajevo, uses documents, photographs and other archive materials to tell the story of the assassination by young Serb Gavrilo Princip on June 28, 1914, and its impact on Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik will attend the opening on Saturday of the newly-built mini-town of Andricgrad in eastern Bosnia at an event to mark the centenary of the start of World War I.

BANJA LUKA -- Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić said that Serbia is a guarantor of the Dayton agreement, which entails the preservation of Bosnia's Serb entity, the RS.

Nikolić also noted he had "exceptionally positive cooperation with the RS leadership and President Milorad Dodik."

PM decides not to attend WW1 event in Sarajevo

BELGRADE -- Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić has announced that Serbia and the Serb Republic (RS) will this year jointly mark June 28 - Vidovdan.

The religious holiday, St. Vitus Day, and the date itself, have had exceptional significance for Serbs through centuries.
