Bosnian Serb Soldiers’ Convictions for Killing 28 Civilians Upheld
The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court has upheld the verdict sentencing ex-soldiers Branko Cigoja, Zeljko Todic and Sasa Boskic to 14 years in prison each for crimes against civilians in Oborci near Donji Vakuf in September 1995, BIRN has learned.
The acquittal of a fourth defendant, the men's commander, Milorad Glamocak, was also upheld.

The Bosnian state court on Tuesday convicted three Bosnian Serb Army ex-soldiers, Branko Cigoja, Zeljko Todic and Sasa Boskic, of committing crimes against civilians in the village of Oborci Donji Vakuf municipality on September 13, 1995.
Bosnian Court Urged to Clear Serb Soldiers of Killing Civilians
In closing statements at the Bosnian state court, lawyers for former soldiers Branko Cigoja, Zeljko Todic, Sasa Boskic and Milorad Glamocak insisted they were not guilty and should be cleared of the killings of the 28 Bosniak and Croat civilians in Oborci, near the town of Donji Vakuf, on September 13, 1995.

The Bosnian prosecution on Wednesday called on the state court to convict ex-soldiers Branko Cigoja, Zeljko Todic, Sasa Boskic and Milorad Glamocak of the murders of 28 Bosniak and Croat civilians in Oborci, near the town of Donji Vakuf, on September 13, 1995.
