BELGRADE - A two-day meeting of the Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative for South Eastern Europe (DPPI SEE) kicked off in Belgrade on Wednesday.

Government appoints Djuric as KiM Office director
BELGRADE - The Serbian government appointed at Monday's session Marko Djuric, Serbian president's foreign policy advisor to date, as the director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).
The government named Milosav Milickovic and Aleksandar Nikolic as state secretaries at the Ministry of the Interior, the government's press service released in a statement.

Presidential adviser appointed head of Kosovo office
BELGRADE -- The Serbian government on Monday in Belgrade appointed Marko Đurić as the new head of the Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
Previously, Đurić served as President Tomislav Nikolić's foreign policy adviser.
Belgrade Schools to Have Security ‘Officers’ in Four Years
Goran Vesic, member of Belgrade provisional council, on March 3 announced that all schools in Belgrade will have at least one officer in charge of safety within the next four years.
The “school officers” will undergo special training and work in communication with the local police.
