Vucic awards Statehood Day honours
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday awarded Statehood Day honours at a ceremony also attended by PM Ana Brnabic, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Legendary former Serbian footballer and coach Sinisa Mihajlovic and composer Kornelije Kovac were posthumously awarded the Order of Karadjordje's Star.

Nurses, anesthetists and surgeons are among most infected at the Dedinje Institute
This was stated by the director of that hospital, Milovan Bojic.
He stressed that 250 people were tested at the Institute, that the virus had been confirmed in 67 healthcare workers and 14 patients, that infected healthcare workers were excluded from work and patients were taken to COVID-19 hospitals.

The urn containing the ashes of Mirjana Markovic, widow of former Serbian and Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, was buried next to her late husband in the garden of their family home in the eastern Serbian town of Pozarevac on Saturday.
Seselj's son Aleksandar becomes member of National Assembly
Aleksandar Seselj is among several new members of the Serbian National Assembly whose mandates were confirmed on September 20 by the election commission, RIK.
Seselj ran in the election on the SRS list headed by his father and the party's leader, Vojislav Seselj.

Ukraine's security service has decided to impose a 5-year ban on entry into the country on five members of Serbia's opposition Serb Radical Party (SRS).
Ukraine's ambassador to Serbia, Oleksandr Aleksandrovych, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday, that named the SRS members as Aleksandar Seselj, Milovan Bojic, and Dubravka Bojic.
Seselj named SRS presidential candidate
BELGRADE - Serbian Radical Party (SRS) leader Vojislav Seselj was on Sunday named the party's candidate in the 2017 presidential elections in Serbia.
The decision was taken unanimously by the SRS Central Fatherland Administration at a session in the party's Belgrade headquarters, chaired by Seselj.

Doctor says Seselj continues his chemotherapy treatment
SRS party leader Vojislav Seselj is preparing to start his third of the ten planned chemotherapy treatments, the head of his team of doctors has said.
"We are in the phase of receiving one serious medication from abroad that is used to renew liver cells, and that was used in the past by presidents of states," Milovan Bojic told TV Pink.

THE HAGUE -- The Hague Tribunal has asked Holland and Serbia to, by 18:00 hours CET, declare themselves on providing guarantees for Vojislav Šešelj's temporary release.
The court said it received "additional confidential information" that indicate Šešelj's health has deteriorated.
