Belgrade's Old Sava Bridge to be demolished

Belgrade will demolish the Old Sava Bridge over the Sava River in the Serbian capital, and build a new one in its stead.

City authorities on Thursday presented the architectural project to the public.

"The first reason to build a new bridge is functional, because the one we have does not meet the needs of Belgraders," said Mayor Sinisa Mali.

Kiosks in Belgrade to be black and rectangular, city decides

By the end of 2016, all kiosks in Belgrade's municipalities of Vracar, Savski Venac and Stari Grad will have to be black.

The cabinet of the city's chief urban planner, Milutin Folic, made the announcement, saying this is envisaged in the rulebook on the mandatory appearance of kiosks and stalls.
