It has been determined that a social media account used to attack government figures and leak information in 2013 was created in the police's intelligence headquarters in the capital Ankara's Çankaya district.  

U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the July 15, 2016 coup attempt, ordered his followers to conceal themselves after the December 2013 graft probes, according to a police report sent to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The arrested Turkish-Iranian businessman Reza Zarrab, who is being tried in the United States on money laundering and sanction-breaching charges, has told the court he has been using Prozac anti-depressant drugs. 

He did not cite the reason for the usage and did not state how long he had been using them for.

The Turkish authorities have sent files to Germany regarding Zekeriya Öz, a controversial Gülenist prosecutor who is currently believed to be in the country. 

After determining the exact address where Öz is staying in Berlin, Turkey has formally requested his extradition to Turkey. 

A U.S. judge on Oct. 17 rejected Iranian-Turkish businessman Reza Zarrab's bid to dismiss an indictment accusing him of conspiring to conduct hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions for the Iranian government or other entities in order to evade U.S. sanctions. 

Turkey's Supreme Court of Appeals has objected to a decision by the Interior Ministry, which denied putting into process a request to probe former Turkish interior minister and Istanbul governor Muammer Güler following a 2013 complaint by the family of slain Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink. 

The main opposition People's Republican Party (CHP) will send a delegation to the U.S. to attend the hearing of Reza Zarrab, an Iranian-Turkish businessman who was arrested in Florida last week, in a bid to observe the case closely, the party's deputy parliamentary group chair said March 28.

The fifth penal chamber of Turkey's Supreme Court of Appeals ruled on March 23 for an arrest warrant for a public prosecutor who conducted the major Dec. 17, 2013, graft probe and was later dismissed from the profession.
