Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received on Sunday (6 June) a delegation of the mostly Turkish-Bulgarian Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF). The delegation visit was led by MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi and included MEP Ilhan Kyuchuk. MRF has three MEPs, part of the European Parliament's Renew Europe group.

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on June 5 received North Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in Istanbul.

Erdoğan and Zaev held a closed-door meeting at the Vahdettin Mansion.

Earlier in the day, Erdoğan also received Bulgarian Turkish politician Mustafa Karadayı.

Delegation of Bulgarian "Movement for Rights and Freedoms" led by leader Mustafa Karadayi, is in Ankara. They held talks with Turkey's officials.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms will not support a government of the election losers - GERB and BSP, but is ready to support a cabinet of the new parties in the next parliament without participating in it, the leader of the Movement Mustafa Karadayi announced at a briefing at the party's headquarters.

When GERB came to power it inherited BGN 8 billion reserve. After one term, it left  BGN 8 billion in debt, said Chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Mustafa Karadayi in a declaration for the start of the plenary session.

Late last night, the names of all 17 new MEPs became clear. The CEC officially announced the results of Sunday's European elections. Thus, 5 Bulgarian parties and coalitions will have their representatives in the new European Parliament. These are GERB, BSP, DPS (MRF), VMRO (IMRO) and Democratic Bulgaria.

Religious denominations in Bulgaria would allowed to be funded by foreign countries. This is voted by the parliament, rejecting the proposal that religions in Bulgaria receiving a state subsidy should not be entitled to receive donations from foreign countries or foreigners.
 

MPs on 8th of March voted to approve an amnesty of overdue liabilities incurred by religious denominations. The debt is to be written off through amendments to the Religious Faiths Act, which were approved at first reading by votes from GERB and MRF. United Patriots were against, reports BNT.
