For the sixth consecutive year, the chairperson of GERB Parliamentary Group and deputy chair of the party Tsvetan Tsvetanov took part in the National Prayer Breakfast with US President Donald Trump, the press office of GERB announced on 8th of February.

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev will convene a meeting of the National Security Advisory Council (KSNS) today, it was reported by NOVA Tv.

After consultations with President Radev, chairman of the  Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Mustafa Karadayi, said that with the current configuration in parliament, it was up to the political forces to draw up a program for governing the country by the end of the Bulgarian EU presidency and to form a parliamentary majority around this program.

The DPS Deputy Kamen Kostadinov resigned because of the "15/15" phenomenom, according to novinite.bg.

On Wednesday the DPS Party expelled Angel Isaev who was chosen for deputy on account of a coincidence with his number on the list and the number of the party on the bulletin. Isaev diclined leaving the 44th parliament and Kostadinov chose to resign itself.

The political forces represented in the 44th National Assembly have announced their priorities, BNR reported.

The Rights and Freedoms Party (HÖH), a party dominated by the Turkish minority in Bulgaria, has issued a "No" call for the oncoming constitutional referendum in Turkey.

The party issued a statement on April 6 saying the referendum on whether to shift Turkey to an executive presidential system threatened democracy, fundamental rights and freedoms. 

The Turkish media did not pay much attention to the early general elections held on March 26 in Bulgaria, the related incidents and their possible causes. Developments that concerned 650,000 Turkish voters remained behind our domestic referendum debates. 

We from DPS hope that GERB have learned their lessons from their two unfinished mandates because, in the last few years, we had three cabinets which resigned and we had to hold snap elections three times, stated DPS leader Mustafa Karadayi at a briefing of the party commenting on the election results.
