Ruling AKP officially kicks off 'Yes' campaign for charter referendum
The ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) officially launched its 'Yes' campaign for the April 16 referendum on constitutional amendments on Feb. 25 in Ankara. "We are taking the first step towards establishing tomorrow's strong Turkey," Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım told a crowd at Arena Stadium.
Bosnian, Albanian added to Turkish Education Ministry's curriculum
Bosnian and Albanian have been added to the list of foreign languages available to be taught at secondary schools by the Turkish Education Ministry, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Feb. 23.
The ministry added the two languages as electives of "Living Languages and Dialects" subject.
Farsi, Korean and Urdu added to Turkish Education Ministry's curriculum
Farsi, Korean and Urdu have been added the list of foreign languages available to be taught at schools by the Turkish Education Ministry, the state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
The cabinet decision about usable languages in formal and non-formal educational institutions in Turkey was issued in the Official Gazette on Feb. 22.
