Hürriyet attackers still at large

No legal action has been taken against those who attacked daily Hürriyet's headquarters on Sept. 6 and Sept. 8.

It is known who they are, where they reside, where they live. There are video recordings of the crime they committed. The one that led the mob does not deny his crime; each time he says he will repeat the same act.

Remembering Atatürk

Yesterday, Turkey commemorated Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founding father of the Turkish Republic. Both the tall man and the short man with the almond moustaches praised Atatürk's vision, naturally without using the word "Atatürk" (Father of Turks), which they dislike.

Thousands flocked to the mausoleum of the Turkish Republic's founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, in Ankara to commemorate the leader who passed away 77 years ago on Nov. 10.    

An?tkabir will be open to visit until 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 in an event that sees tens of thousands of people gather every year. 

Turkey commemorates 77th anniversary of Atatürk's death

Thousands of people on Nov. 10 flocked to the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Ankara to commemorate the founding father of the Republic of Turkey who passed away 77 years ago.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, Parliament Speaker ?smet Y?lmaz and other senior political figures also attended the commemoration ceremony at the mausoleum, An?tkabir.

Nation to remember founding father Atatürk

Turkey will remember the founding father of the modern republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the 77th anniversary of his death in ceremonies across the country, with his mausoleum in Ankara, An?tkabir, being the heart of the events.
