Türkiye, UAE space agencies sign cooperation deal
Türkiye's space agency (TUA) and the United Arab Emirates Space Agency (UAESA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the peaceful use of space and space science, technologies and applications.
The signing ceremony was held in Istanbul on July 13 where delegations from both countries gathered for an investment workshop.

Türkiye will become the center of value-added food and beverages production thanks to the newly launched Food Innovation Center, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank said.
Sky Observation Fest held in southeastern province
Some 5,000 people attended a four-day "sky observation festival" held in an ancient castle in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır.
People monitored the sky and the stars with high tech telescopes in Zerzevan Castle, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2020.

Some 50,000 to visit Teknofest Azerbaijan
The four-day "TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan," Turkey's biggest aviation and technology festival's first abroad mission in Azerbaijan's capital Baku, started on May 26 with an expectation of around 50,000 visitors.
Some 5,000 contestants will compete in the fest held at Baku's Crystal Hall and the National Park.

Some 31,000 apply to become Turkey’s 1st astronaut in two days: Minister
Around 4 million people have visited an official website displaying the criteria to become Turkey's first astronaut, with more than 31,000 people applying in just 48 hours, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank has said.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the website "uzaya.gov.tr" is open for submissions late on May 23.
