Marmara Sea temperatures stir concern as heatwaves persist
Extreme heat waves have led the temperature of the Marmara Sea to spike significantly, causing the oxygen levels in the sea to decline and gravely impact the marine ecosystem, says an expert.

"Flames have entered the thermal power plant," the Mayor of Milas, Muhammet Tokat, said on Wednesday night on Twitter, adding that the staff were evacuated.

Over 80 HDP, DBP members detained in Turkey's southeast
As many as 85 officials from the Peoples? Democratic Party (HDP) and the Democratic Unity Party (DBP), including the mayor of the southeastern province of Batman and his deputy, have been detained after they attempted to enter a military security zone in Batman?s Sason district.
