However, based on the decision of the Serbian Government of March 19, 2020, all commercial international flights to and from Nikola Tesla Airport will be suspended at 12 noon, according to a statement from the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.

The beginning of the meeting was announced earlier at 11 o'clock, and in addition to the President of Serbia, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and members of the government, the meeting was also attended by representatives of all services involved in the fight against coronavirus.

In a statement on March 3, the European Council on Refugees and Exiles warned against inflammatory language.

"Refugees seeking protection should not be treated as a security threat, with heavy-handed military tactics and language," the organisation said.
