Nick Cave is coming to Athens this June, and he'll be in great company - Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood. The two musicians have toured the US and Australia, earning rave reviews and selling out shows, and now it's Europe's turn. Onassis Stegi (107-109 Syngrou) has secured not one but three dates in this series of shows.

Punk legend wins Polar Prize

U.S. punk icon Iggy Pop and French contemporary music ensemble Ensemble intercontemporain on Feb. 8 won Sweden's Polar Music Prize, the organization behind the award said.

The laureates will receive their award, which includes a one million kronor (96,000 euros, $110,000) cash prize, at a ceremony in Stockholm on May 24.

Greek artist Stefanos Rokos has produced a visual interpretation of what he saw in his mind while listening to the album "No More Shall We Part" by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. "Many years after my first listen to the album I knew that the images of these songs were still following me around," the artist explained.

Nick Cave | Athens | June 23

Australian rock legend Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds are headlining this year's Ejekt Fetsival at Plateia Nerou (Water Square) in Palaio Faliro on Athens's southern coast, in a lineup that also includes English rockers Editors and Wolf Alice, and American act Protomartyr in its first appearance in Greece. Doors open at 5 p.m.
