BELGRADE - In a telephone conversation with Moldovan FM Nicu Popescu, Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic said Belgrade determinedly rejected any insinuations about potential involvement of Serbian citizens in potential violent developments in Moldova, as stated by Moldovan President Maia Sandu.

Moldova said three cruise missiles fired by Russia at Ukraine entered Moldovan airspace today, Reuters reported.

Chisinau added that they had summoned the Russian ambassador to the country to get explanations.

Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita said on Tuesday that Moldova is currently engaged in intensive negotiations with Russian state company Gazprom on extending its gas supply contract, but is looking at several gas supply possibilities in other European countries as well.
