Serbian Science Centre Director Resigns after Sexual Harassment Claims
Nikola Bozic, the director of the Petnica Research Station has resigned, the head of the scientific education facility's managing board, Tanja Adnadjevic, told Serbian public broadcaster RTS on Wednesday.
Probe Starts Into Sexual Abuse Claims in Serbian Research Centre
The Public Prosecutor's Office in Valjevo, western Serbia, has opened a pre-investigation into allegations of sexual violence in the Petnica Science Centre, the Serbian daily Danas reported on Friday.
Deputy prosecutor Vladimir Davidovic said the Prosecution Office started work after reading about the acusations in the media.

During the investigation into the allegations of sexual harassment of several former participants of the Petnica Research Station, the police will interrogate the former and current director, but also interview former employee S. (65), who the girls identified as an abuser between 2003 and 2014, stated "Blic".

PETNICA - The 13th regional young scientists conference "A Step into Science", gathering around 200 participants from the former Yugoslavia who presented the findings of their latest science, society and technology research, took place at the Petnica Science Center (ISP), a non-profit organization engaged in the development of science culture and education.
