Mihalkov becomes Belgrade's honorary citizen
BELGRADE - Russian film director Nikita Mihalkov received at the Belgrade City Hall on Friday the charter of the honorary citizen of Belgrade along with a message that he now had another home.
Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali and city assembly president Nikola Nikodijevic presented the charter, the first one to be given to an artist.

Days of Belgrade start with wreath-laying ceremony
BELGRADE - President of the Belgrade City Assembly Nikola Nikodijevic laid a wreath at a memorial site at Kalemegdan Fortress on Thursday, marking the start of the traditional Days of Belgrade event.
The wreath was laid at the site where the last Ottoman commander of the fortress Ali Riza Pasha handed over the keys to the city to Prince Mihailo Obrenovic in 1867.
