The leadership meeting between "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" and GERB-SDS failed and was again postponed, but without clarity when exactly it should be held. Despite the confirmation of GERB leader Boyko Borissov before the start of the plenary session that he would respond to the meeting invitation, he left without talking to the WCC-DB representatives.

"Peace is achieved when every aggressor knows that if he attacks, he will be punished. In order for our country to feel calm, we must develop our military capacity, because the risks have not disappeared".

Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov stated that next year Bulgaria will achieve its goal of 2 percent of GDP for defense. In a joint briefing with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Alliance headquarters, he stressed:

Bulgarian political party "We Continue the Change" intends to become a full member of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE). This became clear from the words of Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, who, together with Finance Minister and co-chairman of WCC Asen Vassilev, participated in the forum of European liberals before the summit in Brussels.

GERB has received assurances from the leaders of "We Continue the Change" that there will be a rotation of the cabinet. This happened at the last leadership meeting between the parties, GERB leader Boyko Borissov told journalists in the parliament:

The Bulgarian government described as "unacceptable" the behavior of the pro-Russian party "Vazrazhdane" (Revival) and its leader's calls for violence. The prime minister and the ministers of internal affairs and justice issued statements on the issue.

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov stated that he hopes the cabinet will rotate and he is personally working for this. This is how Denkov responded to GERB leader Boyko Borissov, who some time ago stated that there would hardly be a rotation.

"Two problems stand in our way - the lack of rule of law and sentiments towards our eastern neighbors". This was commented by Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov during the opening of the Sofia Economic Forum.

According to him, Bulgaria must work for the development of its economy, even though it is a small country.

Bulgarians approve of the formation of a regular government, but not the principle of a rotating prime minister, according to a nationally representative survey by the sociological agency "Exacta", conducted in the period 12 - 20 June. According to it, 61% of the respondents welcome the formation of a regular cabinet.
