Cyprus conference to meet for a final shot
The leaders of Turkish and Greek Cypriots will meet once again at an open-ended conference to be reconvened in the Swiss resort of Crans Montana on June 28 with the participation of three guarantor powers -Greece, Turkey and the United Kingdom- in a bid to end decades-old division and to come to an agreement for a united new state on the island.

The Greek PM’s meeting with the Cypriot President before the Summit in Switzerland
The Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met with the Cyprus President Nikos Anastasiades in Brussels on Thursday.
They talked mainly about the draft document of Espen Barth Eide, UN Secretary General Special Adviser on Cyprus, and the coordination of Athens and Nicosia ahead of the Cyprus summit.
EU, US engagement needed for key Cyprus conference
The Turkish and Greek Cypriot leaders, Mustafa Akıncı and Nikos Anastasiades, will meet in Crans-Montana, Switzerland on June 28. The meeting comes after strong pressure from U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Gueterres to hold another conference in order to bring the two parties closer to a breakthrough with the participation of three guarantor countries: Turkey, Greece and the United Kingdom.

Turkey says upcoming Cyprus conference 'final opportunity' for solution
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has said the upcoming conference on Cyprus is the "final opportunity" to reach a lasting and comprehensive solution to the decades-old problem, calling Greek Cyprus to adopt a constructive attitude and sincere will.

Would Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akıncı appear in front of the cameras with a face similar to the snapshot he gave to reporters at the last summit with former secretary-general Ban Ki-moon? Or would he smile this time? Would U.N.

Blame game in Cyprus
Commenting on the long expected and highly anticipated collapse of the Cyprus talks process, Turkish Cypriot President Mustafa Akıncı placed the blame on the shoulders of his Greek Cypriot counterpart Nikos Anastasiades. After, Anastasiades shot back with an equally blunt statement, claiming it was Akıncı who objected the modality of the talks and landed the process in a deadlock.

Cypriot President to meet with northern Cypriot leader Akinci
The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiades will meet with the leader of the northern Cypriot community Mustafa Akinci on Thursday afternoon at the Lefkosia airport. The issue on the agenda of talks are expected to include the EU, governance and the economy. Two men are meeting in the framework of negotiations for the resolution of the Cypriot problem.
