Tsitsipas and Badosa: Winter escape to Iceland – Skiing in -12°C weather
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa are enjoying a winter getaway in Iceland, embracing the snowy scenery and their love for adventure.
The tennis couple wrapped up their professional commitments a few weeks ago and, after a brief stay in Monte Carlo, Tsitsipas’ home base, traveled to London and then to Iceland for their winter break.

This week, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa grace the cover of the Spanish magazine “Hola.” With Badosa’s season over, she accompanied her Greek partner to Paris, where he continued competing, and the magazine photoshoot took place in the French capital.

After battling a serious injury for a long period, Badosa showcased shades of her former self in her comeback, securing a spot in the London Open’s last 16.
Following an intense match that stretched nearly three hours, Badosa emerged victorious over her Russian opponent. She now awaits to face either Donna Vekic or Dayana Yastremska in the fourth round of Wimbledon.
‘Tsitsidosa’ withdraw from French Open mixed doubles
Spanish-Greek duo Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas withdrew from the French Open mixed doubles on Monday, extending the fans' wait to see the couple take their partnership on court.
The pair, who recently rekindled their romance, had received a wildcard at the Paris major and were due to play Japan's Ena Shibahara and American Nathaniel Lammons in the first round.
Badosa says she and Tsitsipas are no longer a love match
Paula Badosa has said she and Stefanos Tsitsipas are no longer a love match. The tennis power couple has broken up.
Badosa wrote on social media Sunday that the pair "decided to amicably part ways" after being a couple since last year.
Gauff loses out to Potapova power
American Coco Gauff was knocked out of the Miami Open on March 25 after an intense three-set battle with Anastasia Potapova while Indian Wells champion Elena Rybakina earned a hard-fought comeback win against Spain's Paula Badosa.

Swiatek racks up 31st straight win
World number one Iga Swiatek was the only top 10 women's seed left standing at the French Open on May 28.
Swiatek, the 2020 champion, dropped serve three times against 95th-ranked Danka Kovinic of Montenegro before sealing a 6-3, 7-5 third round victory, her 31st successive win.

Slovenia’s Zidanšek makes it to semi-finals of French Open
Paris – Tamara Zidanšek continues to make Slovenian tennis history as she has advanced to the semi-finals of the French Open. The 23-year old defeated Paula Badosa of Spain in Tuesday’s quarter-finals in Paris in three sets (7:5, 4:6 and 8:6).
Zidanšek makes Slovenian tennis history
Paris – Tamara Zidanšek has made Slovenian tennis history by advancing to the quarter-final of the French Open as the first Slovenian woman to do so in a singles competition since 1977.
Zidanšek defeated the Romanian Sorani Cirstea 7:6 (4), 6:1 on Sunday and will play the Spaniard Paula Badosa tomorrow.

UPDATE Romania's Cirstea advances to French Open women's singles round of 16
Romanian tennis player Sorana Cirstea qualified for the round of 16 of the Roland Garros tournament on Friday in Paris, after defeating the Russian Daria Kasatkina, 6-3, 6- 2. Cirstea (31 years old, WTA's 54) sealed her victory in one hour and 24 minutes of playing. Sorana's best result in Paris is a quarter-final in 2009, and since then she has not passed the third round.
