Golden Dawn trial adjourned until May 12

The trial of Golden Dawn?s leadership and members, which resumed on Thursday morning in Athens, was adjourned until May 12.

The court's president Maria Lepenioti announced that the trial would resume in the same special courtroom in maximum-security Korydallos Prison and that a decision regarding a change of venue lied with the government.

The trial proceeding against 89 members of the Greek neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn started Monday in Athens.

Party leaders have been accused of creating ''a criminal organization'', but they were not present in the court room as reported by AFP. Accusation to party members also included murder, racist violence and possession of weapons.

Fishmongers' owned by sister of Roupakias targeted

Two fishmongers? owned by the sister of Giorgos Roupakias (photo), the Golden Dawn member who stabbed rapper Pavlos Fyssas to death in September 2013, were attacked early Friday.

The first incident happened at around 2.45 a.m. in Pangrati, eastern Athens. An incendiary device went off at the entrance to one store, causing minor damage.
